Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we process on codebullsteam.com, why, who we share it with and how to exercise your rights. It follows Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013 and, for visitors from the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller
The controller is Codebulls S.A.S ("CodeBulls"), tax ID (NIT) 901140022-0, based in Medellín, Colombia. Email: info@codebullsteam.com. Phone: +57 312 726 6648.
Requests, questions and complaints about your data are handled by CodeBulls' management at info@codebullsteam.com.
2. What data we process and why
- Contact form. Your name, email, company and website (optional), your message and the page you wrote from. We use them to reply, prepare a diagnosis or a proposal and send you a confirmation email. Legal basis: your own request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)). By sending the form you authorize us to process them for that purpose.
- CodeBulls emails and The Brief newsletter. Your email and, if you came through the form, your name, company and website. Only if you tick the box on the form or subscribe. Legal basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe anytime from the link in every email.
- Scheduling. If you book a call: your name, your email, the time you pick and anything you write when booking, to hold that call. Legal basis: your request.
- WhatsApp. If you message us, we use the conversation to reply.
- Analytics (only if you accept it). Which pages you visit, how you got here, your device and browser, your approximate location and actions such as sending the form, booking a call, tapping WhatsApp or subscribing. Legal basis: your consent.
- Advertising (only if you accept marketing). Measuring how our ads perform and showing you relevant ads. Legal basis: your consent.
- Technical data. When you visit, the server logs your IP address, browser, the page requested and the time, to keep the site running and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure site.
We don't make automated decisions that affect you and we don't process sensitive data.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your data. We use these providers, which process data to deliver their services to us:
- Google: email (Google Workspace), Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Tag Manager.
- Meta: Meta Pixel and WhatsApp.
- Klaviyo: sending emails and the newsletter.
- Calendly: call scheduling.
- DigitalOcean: website hosting.
Google, Meta and Calendly also use their own cookies, as explained in section 5. We'll also share data if the law or a competent authority requires it.
4. International transfers
CodeBulls is based in Colombia and several of these providers process data in the United States. Those transfers rely on the safeguards each provider offers, such as the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses, and follow Law 1581 and the instructions of Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC). If you write to us from Europe, your data reaches Colombia.
5. Cookies
We use cookies and your browser's local storage. Necessary ones always work; analytics and marketing ones only turn on if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice anytime from "Cookies" at the bottom of every page, or here: .

* Browser local storage: not a cookie, and never sent to any server.
The Calendly scheduler (contact page) only loads by itself if you accepted analytics and marketing. Otherwise it loads when you press "See available times": that click is your consent to Calendly's cookies, as the text next to the button says.
6. How long we keep your data
- Contact and scheduling: up to two years after our last exchange; if we start working together, as long as the law requires.
- Emails and newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
- Analytics: 14 months.
- Server logs: up to 30 days.
Our databases remain in force while CodeBulls carries out the activity the data was collected for.
7. Your rights
You can access, update and correct your data; ask for proof of the authorization you gave us; know how we use it; revoke your authorization or ask us to delete it; access it free of charge; and file complaints with Colombia's Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC). If you're in the European Economic Area you can also restrict or object to processing, ask for data portability, withdraw your consent anytime (without affecting processing before that) and complain to your country's data protection authority.
To exercise them, email info@codebullsteam.com from the address you contacted us with (or identify yourself another way) and tell us what you need. We answer questions within 10 business days, extendable by 5 with notice, and complaints within 15 business days, extendable by 8. In the European Economic Area, within one month at most.
8. Security
We protect your data with an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and limit access to the team that needs it to help you.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we'll update the date above and, for important changes, we'll say so on the site. In force since September 26, 2026.
